RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

At DiecastModelCars.in, we want you to shop with confidence. This Return and Refund Policy explains when a product can be returned, how to request a return, who pays the return shipping cost, and how refunds are processed.

Return Window

We accept eligible return requests within 7 calendar days from the date the order is delivered.

The return request must be submitted within this 7-day period.

Requests made after the return period may not be accepted except where required by applicable law.

Return Method

Returns are accepted by courier or mail after approval from our customer-support team.

Before sending any product back, please contact us at support@diecastmodelcars.in or +91-96296-76300.

Once your return request is approved, we will provide the applicable return instructions.

Please do not send a product back without first contacting us.

Eligible Returns

You may request a return if you received a product different from the product you ordered.

You may request a return if the product arrived materially damaged.

You may request a return if the product has a significant manufacturing defect.

You may request a return if an item or significant component is missing from your order.

You may request a return if you accidentally ordered the wrong eligible model, colour, or scale.

You may also request an eligible change-of-mind return within the 7-day return period, subject to the conditions stated below.

Condition Required for Return

The product must be unused.

The product must not have been modified, altered, repaired, or damaged by the customer.

The product must be returned in substantially the same condition in which it was received.

All components and accessories supplied with the product must be included.

Original manufacturer packaging must be included where it was supplied with the product.

Manuals, inserts, display bases, certificates, stands, cases, and other included items must also be returned where applicable.

The product must be packed appropriately for the return journey.

Products returned incomplete, used, modified, or damaged after delivery may not qualify for a full refund.

Change-of-Mind Returns

We accept eligible change-of-mind returns within 7 calendar days from delivery.

For a change-of-mind return, the product must be unused, complete, and in resalable condition.

The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping for change-of-mind returns.

We do not charge a separate restocking fee.

Any original delivery charge separately paid by the customer may not be refundable for a change-of-mind return, except where required by applicable law.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive a materially damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible.

For transit damage or incorrect deliveries, we recommend contacting us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can investigate the issue promptly.

Please provide your order number, customer name, clear photographs of the product, photographs of the packaging, and photographs showing the issue.

An unboxing video is helpful where available but will not automatically override rights that may otherwise apply under law.

Please keep the product, manufacturer packaging, shipping packaging, accessories, and other contents until the issue has been resolved.

If we verify that the product was materially damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied, DiecastModelCars.in will bear the reasonable return shipping cost or arrange an appropriate return method.

Depending on the circumstances and product availability, we may offer a replacement, exchange, or refund.

Exchanges

An exchange may be offered for an eligible damaged, defective, or incorrect product if replacement stock is available.

If the same product is unavailable, we may offer another appropriate resolution or a refund.

Change-of-mind exchanges may be treated as a return followed by a new purchase.

Diecast Model Manufacturing Variations

Diecast model cars are manufactured products and minor variations may occur between individual units or production batches.

Minor differences may occur in paint finish, colour shade, decal placement, wheel alignment, panel alignment, detailing, or other small finishing characteristics.

Minor manufacturing variations that do not materially affect the overall product are not automatically considered defects.

Manufacturer Packaging

Many diecast collectors value the manufacturer box, blister card, sleeve, acrylic case, or other packaging.

We take reasonable care when storing and shipping collectible products.

However, minor marks, small creases, light scratches, or normal storage and transit wear to manufacturer packaging may occasionally occur.

Minor packaging imperfections that do not materially affect the actual diecast model are not automatically considered product defects.

Material damage will be evaluated individually.

Non-Returnable Situations

A return may not be accepted when the request is made after the stated return period.

A return may not be accepted when the product has been used, altered, modified, repaired, or damaged after delivery.

A return may not be accepted when important accessories, components, or supplied items are missing.

A return may not be accepted when the product is returned in a materially different condition from the condition in which it was delivered.

Products clearly identified as non-returnable or final sale before purchase may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Nothing in this section limits rights relating to products that are defective, materially misdescribed, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise protected under applicable law.

Please provide the name used when placing the order.

Please explain the reason for the return.

Please include relevant photographs or video where the return concerns damage, defects, missing items, or an incorrect product.

Our team will review your request and provide return instructions if the return is eligible.

Return Shipping Costs

For an approved return involving a materially damaged, defective, incorrect, or incorrectly supplied product, DiecastModelCars.in will bear the reasonable return shipping cost or arrange the return.

For an eligible change-of-mind return, accidental order, or incorrectly selected scale/model by the customer, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

No separate restocking fee is charged.

Refund Processing

After an approved return reaches us, we will inspect the product and verify the return condition.

Once the return is approved following inspection, we will initiate the eligible refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

After we initiate the refund, your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, wallet provider, or payment gateway may require additional processing time before the amount appears in your account.

Refund Amount

For verified damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied products, the eligible amount paid for the affected product will be refunded if a refund is the agreed resolution.

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Any deductions, where applicable and legally permitted, will be communicated before the refund is completed.

Cancelled Orders

Orders cancelled before dispatch are handled according to the cancellation provisions stated on our website.

If an approved prepaid order is cancelled before dispatch, the applicable refund will normally be initiated to the original payment method.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy is intended to exclude or restrict consumer rights available under applicable laws of India.
